Riots in Buenos Aires after Argentina’s defeat

In Buenos Aires are not easy to accept lost in the final of the World Cup. While the Germans were celebrating in the streets of their cities, at the capital of Argentina, riots started.

Despair and sadness, mixed with alcohol and who knows what led to clashes of crowd with police. There were broken windows, smashed cars, and there were casualties.

According to reports of the local agency, 50 people were arrested, while eight policemen were injured.

Recall, the Germans were naked in overtime by Mario Gotze  and celebrate victory over Argentina (1-0).

 

Silva: We did not deserve such a sad end

Captain of Brazil, Thiago Silva, said after the defeat of the Netherlands that his team did not deserve such a sad end of the World Cup.

– This is frustrating, we did not deserve such a sad end. Unfortunately, that’s football. I have to apologize to our fans. They supported us and after the defeat (in the semifinals of 7:1) in a week. Finally, they booed, but that’s normal – said Silva.

Brazil in the semifinals lost from the Netherlands 3-0 in the third place match at the World Cup. In the World Cup’s final, on tonight at 21.00 CET will meet Argentina and Germany.

Neymar broke Scolari’s conference to hug coach

Saturday was another apocalyptic day for Brazilian football, because the South Americans, after the historic debacle in a duel with Germany (1:7), disgraced and against Netherlands in the match for third place (0-3), leaving the crowd in tears.

Selector of Brazilian team Luiz Felipe Scolari was certainly not easy to appears before reporters after another heavy defeat and answers to many provocative questions.

In contrast to all the people at the press conference that literally demanded the resignation of  Scolari at same evening, the support he has got from the player in who was laying all the hope of Brazilians in the World Cup – Neymar.

In the middle of the conference Barcelona’s ace strolled the room, came to Scolari to hug him, gave him support and uttered a few words with him.
